The Student
A lifelong student is who I am
I label myself a learner with a plan
I have hopes and dreams of becoming a teacher
My students and I will make the world wiser
I will teach some day but continue to learn
A student will raise their hand and my head will turn
They will ask a question that I may not know
I will learn from them and together we'll grow
A student will always be a title of mine
A lifelong learner with a dream to let my kids shine

Bravo!!! A+. I really loved your poem. My favorite line was, "A student will always be a title of mine." I like that line because it is true, we always learn new things so that keeps us as students.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great poem Kelsie!! You have a true talent...poems are really hard to create for some people..like me! You are right, each one of us is a life long learner. Even when we get out of college you learn something new everyday and this is what makes life interesting!
