The Big Red Barn introduces all of the different animals that live in the barn. This is a great book for the children. It is fun and it allows them to see a variety of animals. This book is perfect for the first day of school. Kindergarten is the first step towards an education for most of the students. We need to make them feel welcome. They will be scared to leave their parents and it is our job to make them trust us and be able to stay.
Every child wants to make friends. It's what they do and this book tells a story of a boy in Kindergarten that is worried about finding a friend at school. As a teacher I will make sure that they are definitely all a friend of mine. :)
